Angela Sun was born in Santa Clara County in California on 19 October 1979. She is a American journalist, sportscaster, documentary filmmaker and TV presenter. She graduated from University of California with a diploma in communications and sociology. Sun has excellent surfing abilities. She took part in various Pro-Am Surf contests that led to sponsorship deals with brands like Roxy Reef Billabong Vans. It was the fame that she earned from her participation in these events that led her into the realm of entertainment. Then, she went on to become a filmmaker, reporter for investigative reporting and sportscaster. Sun has been employed by a variety of news channels mainly as an anchor. In 2003, she was reporter on Fox Sports Net. She also hosted American Ninja Warrior along with Matt Iseman in 2012. Sun hosted The Yahoo Sports Minute in the year 2014. Sun is the only Asian American to appear as a host on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun is a well-known actress who has been featured in a variety of films. Sun was in films like Goliath (2016) as well as hit the Floor(2014-2016) An Ideal Getaway(2009), Shackled (2005), Street Kings (2008) and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2004). Sun was the producer and director of Platic Paradise, The Great Pacific Garbage Patch in 2014.
